What to See and Do in Margaret River, Western Australia

When planning a stopover in Margaret River, try to allow for a stay of at least three nights so you can take in a few of the many attractions of this richly diverse destination. Claire will be happy to provide a suggested daily itinerary based on your personal requirements.

The Margaret River wine region: Although grape vines were planted only in 1967, this world-renowned region now produces more than 20 per cent of the nation’s premium wines. Many wineries offer FREE tastings at the cellar door and also offer a lunch menu, so plan to spend a day visiting four or five vineyards - followed by a leisurely lunch overlooking the vines - and maybe a few galleries in the afternoon. Group tours are popular with guests, as they are reasonably priced and offer free pickup/dropoff at the house.
